Where It Began
A quiet evening that changed everything
It started with a golden retriever named Noodle and a messy living room. Our founder watched Noodle—tongue out, tail going—sit patiently through yet another grooming session that neither of them enjoyed. The brush was harsh, the shampoo smelled like chemicals, and the whole routine felt like it was designed for humans, not pets.
That evening, a simple question took root: What if every product in a pet's life was built around how they actually feel?
Not harsher, not louder, not more complicated. Just gentler, smarter, and made with the same care we'd want for ourselves. RUZZUR became the answer—a line of everyday pet essentials designed from the animal's perspective first.
We talked to veterinarians, animal behaviorists, and thousands of pet parents. We tested materials until the textures were right, reformulated until the ingredients were clean, and didn't ship a single product until a real panel of pets (and their very honest owners) approved.
